Activity Description: The presentation focused on evidence-based informed assessment and interventions for pediatric speech sound disorders. It addressed how interventions for motor-based vs. phonological-based deficits differ, how multi-sensory cueing can improve elicitation, and stated different strategies for sound generalization.

Participants will:
1. Identify key components of a thorough SSD assessment necessary for differential diagnosis
2. Describe reasons to choose or not choose various interventions given the nature of the child’s specific SSD
3. Discuss elicitation techniques for target phonemes and strategies for generalization
